In the Lower East side of Manhattan, the newest galleries there are so different from the Chelsea. The Chelsea area was much more different i felt like there were so many buildings and factories around there that no one would ever know that there is an art Gallery there. I found it very strange why The person that runs Chelsea would pick that area. Every time i walked into a different gallery it was so breath taking. It literally feels like you stepped into a different world when your around that area. It was very clean,neat, and looked like a modern and professional gallery. almost all of the galleries had white walls and large paintings.
LES was much more different in every way possible. The area looked very busy and there were a lot of stores and apartments around. the galleries even looked liked stores but you can tell that there where painting in their just by imply looking through a window. There were a few galleries that had white walls and looked professional but others looked like they were trying to rebuild the place. The paintings and art works in LES were much more small then the painting in Chelsea.
